( Jaina didn't tend to get nervous about difficult conversations, but she was nervous about this one. She had no idea how Jacen would react, which was sad on several levels. )

( While Jaina's actions at Qoribu prevented war and saved lives, the fact that she'd gone against the Taat to warn the Chiss meant that she and Zekk were expelled from the nest. This meant resuming life as normal, going back on missions as Jedi, even if Jaina missed the Taat with everything she had in her. And a year after leaving, she couldn't say that her time there with Zekk hadn't left them with some side effects. )

( Jacen arrived at the Taat nest about a month after the others had first gotten there. For as many comments as Jaina gave him about being more than a little tardy in answering a call for help, she was elated to see her twin for the first time since the end of the Vong war. It was just too bad it wasn't under better circumstances. )

( Even thought it had come up more than once in the past as a possibility, Jaina had never really imagined herself as a teacher. It just wasn't her style, and being Sword of the Jedi didn't really lend itself to kid-friendly activities.
